Return idler is an important component of belt conveyor and is used for supporting the guard rubber at the return section to reduce the rubber’s running resistance and the wear and tear of the rubber side. Return idlers can also control the rubber’s draping to ensure the steady traveling of the rubber and prolong the rubber’s operating life. There are several types of return idlers: parallel, V type and inverted V type. They are installed on the groove frame, two-idler groove frame and transition idler frame to support the conveyor belt.
